Susan's Fashion File: The Promised Cool Shit
The cool thing about EntreCard is that I'm meeting some extremely cool artists who use their blogs to advertise their Etsy shop and their handmade goods. (And frequently, the handmade goodies of others, too.) I found a great bracelet from The Beaded Tail that I've added to the stack on my right forearm. It looks perfect.
The bad thing about Etsy is finding this. I don't wear a lot of rings, usually just my bridal set and either a pinky ring that began life as my baby ring or else my Mommy ring. But that? I'd make an exception. Whoo boy, that's for me.
The price is great, too. I can't say as much for the next line of clothing I found. Remember how we thought $67 for a hoodie was too much money?
Then do not -- DO NOT, I say click on this link for Yellowman clothing.
Yeah. You're as sorry as I am.
Hey, Yellowman people? Total Skull people? If you'll be so kind as to send me some clothes, I'll go have an author picture taken in them. The Tour Manager and I are revamping my website; we'll make the picture look good. We'll give you credit. Lots of it.
C'mon... publicity for the cost of a shirt. You know you want to!

I've never heard of Etsy but am checking it out now! Thank you for the heads up and The Beaded Tail with the kitties was my favorite :-)
The Yellowman tattoo clothing is tres cool :)
Can't say I dig the whole skull thing... but I'm hardly a walking fashion plate. Having my socks match my pants is good day! LOL

you are ebil woman!
I have fallen in lust with many of the steampunk rings (and usually the ones that can't be re-sized).
I don't do scented handmade soaps anymore due to the allergies, but a freind of mine has a fantastic shop on etsy selling her soapy goodness:)

Wheee, lots and lots of cool shit! I love the Etsy site. And oh my goodness, the kitties... SQUEE!
The Yellowman link was bitchin' cool, too. :-D

We use Etsy, it's pretty cool. Someday I'll find that hoodie in the bottom of a box lot at an auction. I'll wear it too.
I do love Etsy. I have already started my Christmas list (and believe it or not I do mean a list to buy for others) for Etsy products...
Those tatoo shirts are really cool! Hope they send you one!

There are people who haven't heard of Etsy yet??? I guess I'm just so engrossed in the site that it IS the world. LOL
You can find just about anything there and it's wonderful to support handmade. I got more than half of my Christmas gifts for folks from Etsy shops last year. And plan to do it this year too.
I'm not a big fan of skulls ... they kind of scare me. But that ring is bad A*S! I could never make something that complicated. I'm surprised at the price ... seems like it should be higher.

Susan, you are so cool. And congrats on the camera! I so wish I had my Nikon d80 that day on the school playground... but do you think I would have been too obvious shooting that picture? Maybe I'll carry it with me there from now on -- just in case.
You're gonna have a blast with that camera -- can't wait to see your fashion photos!

Oh my... A shirt that costs over $500??? And you have to buy it online. I always thought when people spend that kind of money on cloths it was in a Pretty Woman sort of situation where the sales people totally fall all over themselves trying to help you and totally pamper you with free food and coffee and stuff.
BeadedTail, her blog and shop teammother do such a wonderful service to the furry population. Buying from them is giving to our furfamily!

You're killing me. I already bought a hat from a fellow Entrecard/Etsy person. As if it's not bad enough we're addicted to blogging and dropping cards, now shopping is thrown into the mix, oh the humanity!! :-P
